In view of the prevailing weather conditions, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an advisory indicating vigorous monsoon activity.
Current weather is very likely to prevail along and off the North and South Gujarat coast, with wind speeds ranging from 50 to 60 kmph, gusting up to 70 kmph, from southwesterly to westerly directions. The sea conditions are expected to be rough, with high waves along the same coastal areas, and Maharashtra – Nhava Sheva port is also experiencing heavy rain fall.
Due to these conditions, the movement of trains is expected to be sluggish and erratic and hence timely loading/movement of rakes may be impacted for the route between ACTL to MDCC/PPSP/JNPT. Please be assured that we are taking all possible measures to mitigate any potential delays and to ensure uninterrupted rake movement and container handling.
